It starts with a girl named Yoko Nakajima who is very unhappy. She is always playing it safe so that everyone will like her, but they don’t.
One day there is Keiki, a man who swears loyalty to her and brings her back to his world, but not without consequences. He also ends up bringing her classmates; Asano and Nakajima along for the whirlwind adventure.
This anime was insanely slow at first. I had almost quit the anime. Then, read some of the comments to give it a shot. Was really confusing at first because they speak another language in the other world but the anime didn’t differentiate that. It also kept saying Nakajima had a different look but also didn’t differentiate that. They just had characters say they were speaking another language and that she looked different. It got enjoyable after 5 episodes, when things stopped being so confusing. Some say they enjoyed it after the 12th episode. It really was just building up story line for what was to come in future episodes.
There was a point in the anime where it was disappointing. They introduced a new story line that never finished, perhaps instead of doing a few recaps they could have finished the story. It was an anime I enjoyed none the less. Lots of fighting, magic and action. But if you don’t like unfinished stories and recaps this might not be the anime for you.
I really liked the anime. Lots of episodes building up to the main story. You don’t really get that anymore with these new animes popping up out of the woodwork.
P.S. I was really disappointed with Delta-H. That’s why you haven’t seen a post about it. It probably had to do with that I got to it at the tail end of it all on a Sunday. Got into the building they had a tiny sign on an easel saying it was Delta-H and that because my fiance had to point it out to me. Was no big sign, wouldn’t have known it was an anime convention except for the people who were cosplaying. Also, I was probably comparing it to Sakura-con which was huge and I was expecting it to be a lot like it. My next convention I won’t compare it to anything.

My love for the Persona series started with Persona 4. I bought Persona 3 from a friend but fiance and I haven’t started that yet.
I just want to say that I didn’t play this game, my awesome fiance played all the way through. Most games I will write about will be my fiance playing while I just sit, watch, and back seat game. Why wasn’t it me? I have metal in my right arm so it makes gaming a bit hard sometimes, even now as I am writing this blog my hand is already worn out, a bit achy and tingling. As I work on strengthening arm/hand I’ll get back in to playing my own games. Anyways, back to the blog.
I really enjoyed watching my fiance play all the way through. The emotions that you get from the different obstacles you have to go through; meeting your new friends, entering mementos and palaces, and changing peoples hearts. Don’t bash me too hard but I found Morgana annoying as heck, was too bossy at times! I suppose that if cats could talk in real life that’s how most cats would be. Not going to lie, some parts were boring, long and sometimes there was a lot of back tracking, enough to make me fall asleep.
The songs in the game were awesome, and catchy enough that I would have them stuck in my head for hours while I was at work and by the end of the day I would ask if he was going to play Persona. Even now as I am typing it’s in my head, probably because my fiance is testing out the new features you get from the finished game play.
I was a bit sad when it was finished. Took my fiance about 115 hours. Can’t wait for the next Persona game!

This takes place in a Japanese High school. A boy named Kenji who’s in love with Tenma, but she’s in love with another boy.
I really had high hopes for this anime. It started off funny, romantic and strong. By the end of season 1 it was falling flat. Nothing was happening with the main love triangle. They kept introducing more potential ships.
I got through most of season 2, but by episode 15, I skipped to the end. Nothing was happening. It was the same cycle over again. Confessions that were supposed to happen fell flat. I felt the ending was terrible, unless you like that open type of ending.

Just like the title says it takes place in Tokyo. A guy named Kaneki meets a girl called Rize; little does he know she’s not human and his life changed forever that day.
Some people say this anime is too gruesome, I am scared of zombies and I try not to watch anything with zombie like behavior, but I didn’t find it that way. Maybe I am just too desensitized to the “ghoul” behavior. Don’t get me wrong there’s a lot of eating of humans, torture and blood shed, but I find it is to be expected, I mean, come on, its in the title of the anime!
I’ve read there’s going to be a Netflix series coming out. I’m not too sure about it. I’ve already read bad reviews on it and it’s not even out yet. I’ll give it a shot; 3 episodes is usually my limit on animes. If I don’t like a series beyond the 3 episodes I tend to ditch it. Also, I have seen another series about it on YouTube that I have yet to see and hopefully I will have the time time to check out.

This is an oldie but a goodie. About a girl named Kagome Higurashi & a demon named InuYasha. They have a love/hate friendship/romance.
They, along with their friends Shippo, Miroku, and Sango have to find the missing shard pieces of the Shikon Jewel.
I love this anime. It pulls so many emotions. I watch it few times a year. You’ll not regret watching, it’s a long anime but the ending makes it all worth it.

This anime started out a bit weird at first. Starting with a man who seems to be full of himself, but then dies and gets reincarnated into a little 9 year old girl named Tanya Degurechaff . No one seems to take her seriously at first but they end up making her angry, that’s when her demon side shows up and wreaks havoc.
I am currently up to date on this anime, will continue to watch it and see where her military career and temper take her. I’ve heard people say this anime is gory and bloody. It’s a military anime of course there is going to be tons of blood shed but it’s hardly gory. Don’t let the war maps confuse you. While they do use a world map, they aren’t real life countries. I’m glad I gave this anime a shot and I am hoping you will too!

So, I won movie tickets to see this. I was searching for anime conventions around where I live and I happened to see an ad to see this movie. I told myself what have I got to lose? I signed up, and the day before it was showing I had received an email saying I won two tickets!
The theater could have done a better job at seating people. We had gotten there and they were just looking at our passes and letting us in. It was packed with no where to sit. Luckily, my fiance whose taller than me saw two seats. I told him I couldn’t see what he was seeing and to lead the way quickly!
Movie was incredible! The fight scenes were amazing, and reminded me of the first season of Sword Art Online. Lots of funny jokes, and I loved every bit of the Kirito and Asuna romance scenes, which to me fell short in Gun Gale Online. I suggest everyone who loves Sword Art Online to watch the movie. I can’t wait for season 3 to air!
P.S. No photos of when we got to the theater we were already late as I just gotten off work and had to rush home quickly and print tickets.
